Dr Cobus Coetzee qualified as a dentist from the University of Pretoria in 1991. After completing one year of compulsory national service he worked at a government dental clinic in George before joining a private dental practice in Gauteng.
During his time in private practice he completed a post-graduate diploma in orthodontics (cum laude) at the University of Pretoria during 1994. In 1995 he got a part-time appointment in the Department of Orthodontics, University of Pretoria and was appointed as a full-time senior lecturer in the department later that same year. He started his 4 year full-time orthodontic specialist studies at the University of Pretoria in 1996 and received his MChD (Orthodontics) degree (cum laude) in 2000.
He opened his practices in George , Mossel Bay and Oudtshoorn in September 2000 and also worked as a part-time specialist orthodontist in London between 2000 and 2012.
Dr Coetzee is a member of the South African Society of Orthodontists (SASO), the South African Dental Association (SADA) and the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO).
Dr Mark. Wiseman
Dr Mark Wiseman qualified as a dentist in 1992, passing his dental degree cum laude and being awarded academic honours colours by the University of Stellenbosch.
He practiced in private practice in South Africa and the U.K., before resuming his studies at the University of Stellenbosch and completing his MChD degree in orthodontics in 1999. He practiced in South Africa and overseas before settling in George with his family and wife, who is also a dentist.
From the beginning of March 2017, Mark has joined Dr. Cobus Coetzee at Outeniqua Orthodontics. Mark is a member of the South African Dental Association (SADA) as well as the South African Society of Orthodontists (SASO).
